Honest Horse Low Carbon Steel Shot.

Honest Horse low carbon steel shot, free of cracks, has a higher resistance to wear and therefore a greater durability than the high carbon content shot. In the latter, cracks appear during its manufacturing process, accentuating them during the subsequent heat treatment. Low Carbon shot has a different metallurgical structure, this phenomenon of crack formation does not occur.
Low Carbon Steel Shot is manufactured from highly selected scrap with low Carbon, Sulfur and Phosphorous content. After atomization of the steel casting, a bainitic microstructure is obtained, tougher and more durable than the martensitic structure of high-carbon shot.
